SAVANNAH, GEORGIA (May 13, 2024) – Get ready for an out of this world night! Savannah Clovers FC announces “Star Wars Night” for May 25th, 2024 at Memorial Stadium, kickoff at 5pm. Fans are encouraged to wear their favorite Star Wars gear to celebrate “Star Wars: A New Hope” which opened in theaters on May 25th, 1977. Super fans of the movie franchise who dress up as their favorite Star Wars characters, can compete in the Halftime Costume Contest. Participants will have an opportunity to win Clovers Merchandise.
In association with our Star Wars Night, we are partnering with the Frank Callen Boys and Girls Club. Frank Callen Boys & Girls Club provides a safe and welcoming place for youth and their families which builds character and enables growth and excellence in developing academically, socially, ethically, productive, responsible leaders and citizens. Fans can support the Frank Callen Boys and Girls Club at the May 25th home match by participating in a 50/50 Raffle. Funds from the Raffle will be split evenly between the winner and the Frank Callen Boys and Girls Club..
