Savannah Clovers Announce Rescheduled Matches For October

Games To Be Played At Richmond Hill’s Wildcat Stadium

SAVANNAH, GEORGIA (September 29, 2023) – Savannah Clovers Football Club announced today the dates, time, and location for their rescheduled home matches in October. The previously postponed match against the Maryland Bobcats will be played on Wednesday, October 18. Additionally, the previous match against Chattanooga FC will now be played on Saturday, October 21, 2023. Both of these rescheduled games will be played at Richmond Hill High School’s Wildcat Stadium, kickoff will be at 7 p.m.

“Like many of our fans, we were disappointed to hear that both visiting teams had fallen ill with Covid-19 for our previous home matches in September,” says C.C.O. Brian Sykes. “We worked closely with the league to identify a suitable location and dates that would allow us to finish off the regular season before the playoffs begin.”

“We would like to thank our fans for their patience as well as Richmond Hill High School’s leadership and Bryan County Schools for sharing their stadium which meets USSF Pro-League Standards, for us to play our final home matches in,” says C.E.O. Shane Folgado. “Unfortunately, Memorial Stadium is heavily booked for the month of October and were not able to accommodate our rescheduled matches, however, we believe we can still provide a great gameday experience for our fans and the members of the Richmond Hill community at Wildcat Stadium.”
