Savannah, Ga -  The Savannah Clovers dominated Bragg FC with an 11-0 win this past Saturday in UPSL Southeast Conference action. This win marks the largest win ever by the Clovers in all play. The 11 goal win brings the Clovers' goal differential to plus 16 on the season, while maintaining 3rd place behind league leaders Lowcountry United and C-Ville FC. The scoring got off to an early start in the 5th min when #19 Jay DeAlmeida scored on a tap in. Henry Bane would soon score the first of his 2 on a free kick in the 9th min. The Clovers would take a commanding 4-0 lead at the end of the first half. The Clovers did well to possess the ball and limit Bragg FC's chances going forward. In the second half, Jorge Zelaya scored his first goal of the season off an assist from Jay DeAlmeida. DeAlmeida's hat trick and 2 assist would power the Clovers to an 11-0 victory and earn him the Clovers' Player of the Match against Bragg FC. Next for the Clovers? An away match against NPSL side Asheville City on 5/29. A number of away matches are on the schedule until the Clovers return Home to Floyd E. Morris Field to take on C-Ville FC in association with the Kick Hunger 2 Food Drive! Kickoff is at 5pm!
