Bringing league soccer to the City of Savannah has been one of our priorities since the club's founding back in June of 2016. With that, the Savannah Clovers are proud to announce we will be joining the United Premier Soccer League in 2018. The UPSL operates as a sanctioned 5th division league under the United States Soccer Federation. With over 70 clubs nationwide, the UPSL is divided into 5 regional conferences to help clubs maintain travel costs. The Savannah Clovers will be competing in the newly minted Southeast Conference along side Lowcountry United of Charleston, South Carolina.
"The UPSL provides a great opportunity for our club and the City of Savannah. We're excited to bring a higher level of competitive soccer and hope to continue to engage players, supporters and our community. We look forward to 2018 as we build on our principals; Club, Culture and Community." - Brian Sykes, Club President.
"We are very excited to have the Savannah Clovers FC become a new team member of the UPSL Southeast conference. The Clovers are an integral partof our league expansion into the Southeast market and at the same time immediately add the element of bringing a top competitive Pro Development team to the table. We wish the Clovers the best of success both on and off the field as a new member of the UPSL." Yan Skwara, UPSL Commishoner
